Hopefully 2010 will be a better financial year for us all.

Christmas 2010...

The year 2010 was okay in some respects. Financially speaking the USA has a way to go to full recovery.

The year 2010 saw financial strife in Greece, Ireland and other parts of Europe. Australia seems to be holding its own at present and China is doing fine.

Right now time with family seems to me to be a great idea.

Family are the glue of my existence.

Hopefully 2011 will be a better financial year for us all and a better year all round.

UP DATE 2011. FIRST THREE MONTHS

2011 has started out to be a tempestuous year for many. Lots of rain where I am in NSW, Australia. I wish the people of Christchurch, New Zealand well and hope most of 2011 is better for them. The same goes for the people of Japan.

UP DATE 2011. JUNE

In Australia we are in the middle of a really cold winter and the government wants to put the price of electricity up. This will hurt a lot of people. Saving the planet might best be done via the carrot rather than the stick. Alternate power other than fossil fuel? Fine. Get it out here and make it cheap enough for everyone to use.

UP DATE 2011. DECEMBER

The weather has been cold and unpredictable of late. Retailers here are doing it tough.

My novels Disco Evil and Ghost Dance are doing well on Smashwords so that's something. I have a roof over my head and a job and that is something, too.

UPDATE 2012. EARLY JANUARY

We are getting some warm days in New South Wales of late. This is a good time to be at the beach. School kids are at least getting something out of summer which is great.

UPDATE 2012. LATE JANUARY

The rains have come again and there has been flooding in New South Wales and Queensland. It is hoped that it will ease up in February.

As for you, my reader, keep the positive vibes of Christmas going. Best thing you can do. Best thing you can do for all of us.
